 How to: Windows 98 & 95
   
Use the directions below to further configure the dialup connection for the
Windows 98 or 95 operating systems.

Right-click your new BAMnet icon

TIP: Move your mouse overtop the icon and click the right mouse button once, you will be presented with an options pop-up window.

Select Properties from the pop-up options window

Select Server Types from the top selection bar.

Turn off NetBEUI and IPX/SPX Compatible options

Select OK when finished, you should still see the BAMnet icon in your dialup window

TIP: If you like a short cut to the BAMnet Icon to appear on your Windows desktop, right-click the icon, select Create Shortcut, and select Yes.

 

What do I do next?

Click on the icon, enter your username and password, and connect to BAMnet Internet. Once connected, open Netscape or Microsoft's Internet Explorer and browse the Internet.
